Rally Class-$3400-$4250A top-of-the-line paint job, just shy of a full restoration, and certainly far more economical. To achieve optimum quality, one can expect that the removal of main body parts and panels is fair play during the process. The initial cost of $1500 typically includes new parts and labor to accommodate the paint job and body work required to eliminate dents and/or dings. Depending on the model of the scooter, there are parts that will remain intact during the job, primarily the wire harness, electrical components and shocks. The majority of the body panels, excluding the frame, are sandblasted and one can also opt to request a thorough engine rebuild. At a standard $2500, this requires a complete dis-assembly of the engine and entails the replacement of any and all damaged parts with ones that guarantee premium-quality, stainless steel hardware, unless it's factory. In the end, you'll be riding away with a scooter that wears like new. |
